Hyder Alaska. they used to have a place called the low-tide golf and country club. when the tide was in all you could see were the tops of the flags and when it was out it was a 9 hole par 3. the clubhouse made the best pizza i have ever had and it was close to 3 feet across.

My favorite place to visit in the U.S. is florida. i love the weather! its always warm or rainy which is the best weather according to me. there are tons of beaches and great shopping.

Where are some good places to go in Hilton Head Island South Carolina?
My family is gong to Hilton head for vacation and we need some good places to visit. But not the touristy places like the salty dog or the lighthouse. Has anyone been there? Help!!!

I have been vacationing in Hilton Head for 20 years and have two pieces of property there now. The market for property on and off the island is down but more in the lot area than in the rental area. Over the years this has been a great marker for all properties but especially rentals and it continues to be so, I would look hard at the property and make sure you are buying into one of the established areas
